A lady abused by a Doctor
The Kollupitiya Police Station has filed a case against a doctor, before the Fort Magistrate Court, who has supposed to be sexually abused a lady officer of the U.S. Embassy in Colombo.
This case was filed against a doctor named Mahendra Abeysinghe Wijewardana, who is a resident of Gangodawila area and serving at the Durdans Hospital.
According to the reports, the lady officer of the U.S. Embassy has visited the Durdans Hospital to receive
treatments for a hand ailment.

Later, she has made a complaint at the Kollupitiya Police Station, saying that, the relevant doctor has sexually abused her, while he was examining her.
