No Begging in Private BusesThe Private Bus Owners Association has decided to prohibit begging and selling goods on private buses from tomorrow (February 1) due to the inconvenience it causes commuters, President of the PBOA Gemunu Wijeyratne stated.
Therefore, those collecting money, begging or selling goods will be prohibited to do so in private buses from tomorrow, he stated while adding that the police have been asked to implement the law in cases where these rules are not
followed.
He added that even though these rules had been brought in before they had not been practiced.
