Showers and thundershowers, with heavy falls, will continue in the Eastern, Central, Uva and North Central Province and in the Hambantota District.
The Met Department says that there will be temporary localised fairly strong winds during thundershowers.
It also notes that there will be showers and thundershowers at times in the areas off Eastern, and South Eastern sea
coasts and the sea areas may be rough at times.
