The police have received complaints on an assault that was carried out on Eastern Provincial Councillor Priyantha Pathirana allegedly by the son of the chairperson of the council.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Prishantha Jayakody said that the compliants state that the son of the chairperson who arrived with another group near his residence has
launched this attack.
