The Colombo Additional Magistrate A.M Shahabdeen today granted permission to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to question Ravindu Vaas Gunawardena for 24 hours.
The lawyer of the son of the former DIG, Ajith Pathirana informed court that his client did not surrender to court
earlier due to his medical condistion and said the suspect was suffering from asthma.
The private body guard of Ravindu , Dimuth Hettiarachchi was remanded till August 14.
