The Minister of Education had stressed that from the year 2105 those students sitting the GCE O/L’s who could read and understand English would receive additional marks.
In this regard it has to be emphasised that 90 marks for understanding the English language and 10 marks would be given for a practical Knowledge revealed the Ministe.
The first batch of students to whom this would be introduced are to the students in the GCE O/L 2014 batch
who would be hoping to sit for the 2105 examination. In this regard a large number of teachers would be needed who would be assisted with the related DVD’s.
