Mr Dullas Alahapperuma, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development, has said at Galle that, if a riot occurs in 10 years, Dullas Alahapperuma may become the main defendant.
“If such an incident occur, I am ready to take the responsibility”. he said.
He has expressed these views, while participating in a ceremony, which was held at Galle, to grant the ISO 9001- 2008 productivity certificate to the Galle Technical
College, and for the recruiting of new students.
“While holding their child’s results sheet, the parents needn’t to sigh that, their child has failed the examination. Your child may have failed the examination, but not from his or her life. They have a path to follow”, the minister said.
“The children needn’t to take poison after failing their A Level Examination. Maximum facilities have been provided for the students to obtain the vocational education, who have failed to enter the Universities, after being passed or failed their A’ Levels,” he added.
