2 Persons to Give Evidence
According to Embassy sources it is learnt that two persons are prepared to give evidence against war crimes committed by the Sri Lankan forces at the time when the war was nearing to end. This is revealed through the sources of our embassy authorities in Geneva, Switzerland.
It is the firm belief that although several people had spoken of many war crimes that had taken place this is the first occasion that two persons are coming forward in the summit to give evidence.
One of these persons had been security personnel to a certain leader in the LTTE. This had been disclosed in the
Britain’s ‘The Independent’ web site. This person had been employed as government Teacher.
This person and the other are now living in UK and they do not like to disclose their identities it is reported. This person had added that after he was wounded seriously he had surrendered to the Army. During this period he was asked to give information to the army about the secrets of the LTTE.In the year 2009 he was sent to a security Zone he has added.
At that time many LTTE leaders had surrendered to the army with their security personals carrying white flags.
