Popular actor and model Hemal Ranasinghe is to take a new fork in his career path, ‘Mirror’ learns.
He is to make his stage drama debut with the drama ‘Enna Maath Ekka Natanna’.
The drama will be staged at the Lumbini Hall at 6.30pm today (05).
Hemal is to portray the character of ‘Rifle’ in the drama.
The cast also includes veteran artistes such as Jayalal Rohana, Rodney Warnakula and Rathna Sheela Perera.
Commenting on this change, Hemal says that he likes to be a versatile actor and to take things slow.
Despite appearing on stage and cinema as well as a being presenter, Hemal says that he will not appear in teledramas.
