A new entrant to the Arts faculty in the Ruhunu University had been subjected to deadly inhuman act of ragging by the seniors at the Ruhunu University. The new entrant had been pulled into the canteen premises upstairs in the faculty building by some seniors had struck his head against a wall causing injuries which could be fatal.
A group of students who are suspected have been arrested by the Police. The student is 20 years old is Kekulawe Chamal Indika Perera a resident of Wewala area in Horana
is presently warded in the Matara hospital ward No 3.He has had attended lectures only for just two weeks and had been boarded in a residence close by and some senior students had forced him to enter the hostel of the Ruhunu University which had been the grudge which had been in the Police complaint.
