C.V Wigneswaran the Chief Minister Nominee is the brother- in- law of Vasu
A retired supreme court Judge C.V Wigneswaran has been name as the nominee for the Chief Ministers post in the North. It had been confirmed by the Member of parliament for the TNA R.Sambandan.
It is learnt that Mavai Senathiraja has also been expecting to be nominated and as result there had been a major split
within the party supporters.
It is learnt that Wigneswaran has two sons. One son has been married to the daughter of Vasudeva Nanayakkara and
the other daughter is married to the daughter of the elder brother of Kesarralal Gunasekara who is the Deputy Mayor of Dehiwala –Mt Lavinia Municipal Council.
