NTC New Decision
The National Transport Commission has decided to suspend the temporary work permit granted to the drivers and conductors, who were selected to serve in the Inter Province Passenger Transport Service, until the conclusion of their training programme relevant to their districts.
Mr Roshan gunawardana, the Chairman of the Commission has taken this decision due to the complaints received that, certain persons are illegally using this temporary permit to
work as drivers and conductors.

However, arrangements have been made to conduct special training workshops at the National Transport Commission premises for the persons who urgently need the driver and conductor training.
