According to a post on Google product forums a Sri Lankan user, Bhuddika Nuwan has requested the Google team to place a google doodle on Sri Lanka’s Independence Day on
its homepage.
The doodle which dons the lion found in the emblem of Sri Lanka and features three colours found in the national flag.
