What is the mighty Hurry for Parliamentarians to Visit Vetican?

Parliamentarians New Visit

Our Maha Sanga has claimed that certain politicians are very keen on going to Vatican to wish the Pope who had resigned on his own citing personal health issues. The Maha Sanga is at a loss to understand the reason for this urgent visit.
Even in the Christian countries such enthusiasm on this matter is not been seen at all. Sri Lanka been a Buddhist country the reason for some politicians who are in a mighty hurry about this trip is questionable. This has aroused some suspicion has been disclosed by the Director of Ratmalana
Dharma experimentation Institution, Ven.Negoda Vipassi thera.
Ven. Negoda Vipassi thera went on to add that several erudite and famous Buddhist Monks passed away recently. But the due respects were not given to them during the time of their funerals. The deep sorrow and sympathy was not shown to them which they richly deserved.
The suggestion of the Leader of the opposition in this regard about visiting Vatican is ample testimony for the role he is playing now.
Instead of appreciating the work of the erudite monks in a Buddhist country like ours, but showing over enthusiasm in blessing the Pope who had resigned on medical grounds is a debatable question as to whether there is going to be religious confrontation is in the foremost minds of Buddhists. This is a question that needs to be discussed and addressed by the Buddhist people of this country the thera added further.
