The issue of national identity cards to be reduced to 15 years from the existing 16 years

A proposal has been made by the Registration of Persons department to reduce the issue of National Identity cards from the age of 16 to the age of 15 years.
In this connection the advice of the Attorney General has been sought by the higher authorities of the Registration of Persons department. In this connection the department of registration of persons are to implement new laws.This would be done with the introduction of the new electron
ic methods of issuing New Identity cards.
