James Packer very enthusiastic about his proposed casino venture in SL
One of the world’s most successful casino businessmen is James Packer. There were speculations in many quarters that James Packer had drawn plans to commence a huge casino business centre in Sri Lanka which is having potential for his proposed casino business.However his intention was proved true through a media report that was published in an Australian newspaper, 'The Ape'.
He has already been convinced that India located in close vicinity to Sri Lanka and those in India who are interested in Casino could also participate in this business. This reason had propelled his idea and motivated to go on with this project. He had visited Sri Lanka thrice in the recent past and been fully convinced with his proposed plans. His
enthusiasm has got enhanced to unprecedented heights it is learnt.
Packer had visited Sri Lanka only in February this year. He had then met some of the cabinet Ministers and has had talks with them. James Packer has intentions in building his own hotel in Colombo under his ‘Crown’ Company. It is learnt that he has interests in some tourist attraction activities in Trincomalee.
He had made known that the hotel will afford the opportunities for tourists, he had stated in his report submitted he had submitted to the government. James Packer is 45 years old and his declared assets in the year 2011 had been US$ 5.21.billion.
