If Geetha becomes the Chief Minister,Southern province will become like another Tamil Nadu
The funeral of Ven.Medavilliye Pannakinthi thera was held at Pitigala in Galle district. There were several Members of the opposition were present at the funeral.
On behalf of the President and the Prime Minister the condolence letter was read out by the Chief Organiser of the SLFP for Bentara Elpitiya Geetha Kumarasinghe. The Galle district Member of Parliament Gyantha Karunatillake had quipped the opposition leader’s condolence message also should have been read by her.
When the members of the Opposition were muttering,
Gayantha Karunatilleke had quipped that she is the one who is going to be the next Chief Minister of Southern Province.
When this was heard a Minister of Southern Province added that then it would become another Tamil Nadu.
