In attack @ a shop
A 51-year-old man was killed while his daughter and son-in-law were wounded following an assault which took place inside a shop in Keppetipola, Welimada last night.
Police said a family dispute between the three of them had escalated to a brawl in the shop owned by the son-in-law of the deceased.
The incident had occurred at around 11.00pm yesterday while both, the victim’s daughter and son-in-law, had
suffered several cuts and are being treated at the Welimada Hospital.
Welimada Police are conducting further investigations.
