Customs Stops 'Time'
The Sri Lanka Custom today said it would not release the Time Magazine edition of July which published a cover "insulting Buddhism", Customs Director Leslie Gamini said.
The consignment was seized three days ago by the customs.
He said that the Customs had the right to block publications deemed harmful to any religion and to the Sri Lankan
culture.
He said the stock of magazines would not be released.
