Sri Lankan Vice Captain Dinesh Chandimal has been appointed as Stand-in Captain for the first two One Day Internationals against South Africa, sources said.
Lahiru Thirimanne has been appointed Vice Captain of the team.
The appointments come in the wake of the suspension of
Captain Angelo Mathews for the team’s slow over-rate at the recently concluded series in the West Indies.
